The Food Group envisions a just and equitable food system, which is based on sustainable food production and access to affordable food for everyone. Fare For All is a pop-up grocery store. We sell packs of fresh produce and frozen meat at up to 40% off of retail prices. You do not have to live in the county where Fare for All hosts its pop-up grocery events. Their model is open to everyone, regardless of income, residency, or ZIP code.
You can shop at any Fare for All location across Minnesota, even if it’s outside your home county.
There’s no registration, no paperwork, and no eligibility screening.

NAPS, or Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors, is a food and nutrition program that provides healthy and nutritious food products for eligible seniors each month at no cost to participants. Second Harvest Heartland provides a box of nutritious food each month to low-income seniors 60 years and older through NAPS. The box contents may include canned fruits, vegetables and juices, milk, cheese, canned meat, peanut butter or dried beans, cereal, rice or pasta.

Sign up at the Pine City Farmers' Market beginning June 13th. P.O.P club has been around for years, Pine City Farmers' Market is in its third year offering this program. Each week, all kids who are signed up will receive $2 in P.O. money to spend on any produce they like at the market.
The Pine City Farmers' Market is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11am-1pm and runs from June 13-October 31. P.O.P Club runs from July 4-October 31st.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps, helps Minnesotans with low incomes (including temporary low incomes) get the food they need for nutritious and well-balanced meals. The program provides extra support to help stretch a household's food budget – it is not meant to cover all the groceries a family needs.
SUN Bucks is an income-based food support program providing $120 per eligible school-aged child to help families buy groceries during the summer. Benefits are issued on an EBT-style card and can be used at any store that accepts SNAP. Eligibility includes children in foster care, homeless or migrant situations, and those in households receiving MFIP, SNAP, Tribal TANF, or income-based Medical Assistance, as well as students approved for free or reduced-price meals through participating schools
