STEAM Club
This year STEAM Club is being offered to grades 1-2 and grades 3-4 on various dates. Please be sure you are registering your student for the correct class(es). Each class is limited to 18 students so please register early!
Each session will provide new challenges that will allow students to be creative, work together in teams, learn new skills and have fun. This is a chance for your child to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art or Math activities integrated with a lot of creativity! Students can choose as many classes that fit into their schedule!
Location: Elementary School, Room 185 – Art Room
Enter through band/choir door #16 on the west side near the basketball hoops.

Grades 1–2
Monday – May 4, May 11
4:30–5:30 PM
$10 per class (register for as many as you’d like)
May 11 – Zippidy Zoo: Students will use items such as raisins, toothpicks, and feathers to create animals for a make‑believe zoo. Please bring a shoebox.
Grades 3-4
Mondays – March 30, April 13, April 20, April 27
4:30–5:30 PM (Paper Circuits runs 4:00–5:30 PM)
$10 per class (Paper Circuits is $15)
March 30 – Fizzy Art: Painting with unique elements.
April 13 – Straw Rockets: Create a rocket and measure how far it can fly.
April 20 – Paper Tower Challenge: Use paper, tape, and imagination to build the tallest tower, then a tower that can support the most weight.
April 27 – Paper Circuits: Learn the basics of electricity and create a light‑up card using copper tape. Students must be able to listen and follow directions. (Runs 4:00–5:30 PM; $15 fee)
