“Cookout on the Farm” is a free, family‑friendly event hosted at Hallan’s Hilltop Ranch in Pine City on August 21st, 2026, from 4–7pm. Dinner is included. Attendees will learn about the conservation practices used by Steve Hallan, a Minnesota Ag Water Quality Certified producer, including no‑till farming, cover crops, and habitat restoration. Pine SWCD will discuss how these practices protect water quality, reduce erosion, and support wildlife. The event will have activities for both children and adults.
