Medical Assistance for Breast and Cervical Cancer (MA-BC) provides coverage to people enrolled in a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program who need treatment services. This program covers all costs for medical treatment and all other Medical Assistance covered services for as long as you might need treatment. Who is eligible for coverage?To be eligible, you must:
Have been screened through the Minnesota Department of Health Sage Screening Program or another CDC-funded National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program
Need treatment for breast cancer, cervical cancer or a precancerous cervical condition
Have no insurance coverage for treatment
Be under age 65
Be a Minnesota resident
Be a U.S. citizen or have a Medicaid-qualifying immigration status
