Pine County Connect was born out of a community health assessment that identified a wealth of resources available, yet highlighted the challenge community members faced in identifying and connecting with these providers. Additionally, many statewide resource websites lack local information and only highlighted resources found in the Twin Cities. Recognizing these needs, Pine County Connect was created to bridge the gap between available resources and community members, providing a centralized platform for easy access and connection.
